Courtney Jessen

MA, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I remember when I was a teenager and the conversations around what was going to happen after high school started to arise. The fear of; “I’m only 17…how am I supposed to know what to do for the rest of my life?”, set in. One thing I knew for sure is that I wanted to be in a profession where I could help others. Over the next ten years I started the process of becoming a therapist in the hope that; just maybe, I could be a help to the community around me.
My education started with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and moved on to receive my Masters from St. Mary’s University of MN in Marriage and Family Therapy. I’ve now been in practice since 2015. I’ve had the honor of providing care in a multitude of settings including; in-home, IRTS (Intensive Residential Treatment Services) and outpatient therapy.
My focus has been working with adult individuals to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
Incorporates faith into therapy when requested.
