    Delano Counseling & Wellness is hiring! We are located in downtown Delano right by the crow river and are a small private practice. Our mission is to help build a strong and mentally stable community by utilizing the most effective evidence-based techniques in therapy. We strive to create a compassionate environment for our clients and inspire hope and healing by helping individuals, couples, and families achieve their highest level of emotional, and mental well being. We commit to improving the lives of all of our clients and their families through clinical excellence offered in an atmosphere of compassion, and respect for the dignity of each individual. 

    We are looking for a fully license (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW) or Master’s level therapist/counselor who is interested in working in a private practice setting. We are looking for a therapist who can see a minimum of 15 clients per week. Our clinicians determine their own work schedule, and we provide a competitive compensation for your hard work. Clinicians will be independent contractors who will receive a 1099 at the end of each year for any compensation paid out for services rendered. We offer in person and/or Telehealth sessions for clients. We accept a variety of insurance plans, as well as private pay clients.

    Qualifications:

    • Counseling/Therapist licensed in the State of Minnesota with a LPCC, LMFT, or LICSW. Or a pre-licensed therapist with a graduate degree. 
    • Be able to communicate effectively and efficiently
    • Driven and self motivated to help their clients work towards their treatment goals. 
    • Great at problem solving and finding solutions towards a positive outcome/change.
    • Works well with other clinicians and has a faith background. 

    Responsibilities

    • Contacting clients and having forms filled out prior to first therapy session. 
    • Provide individual, couples, or family psychotherapy including assessment, treatment planning, updating forms/treatment plans as needed, and termination planning. 
    • Group consultation as needed.
    • Maintain timely clinical records, this includes session notes, treatment plans, and summaries. 
    • Manage own calendar through Simple practice, overlook client payments, and respond in a timely manner to clients and emails. 
    • Maintain all licensure requirements according to your license and board. Follow all state laws, rules, and ethical standards.
